again, do a quick test by panning the vocals L then R (into your mono out to the PA) and tweaking the threshold and output control on the comp until they're fairly equal volume on each side.Ok. drums you can channel insert; set your other comps as gates for kick and toms, and bypass the compressor part (turn up the comp threshold to where the comp never kicks in).Now what about drums? Insert channel or is there another way?

so you are still wrestling with a no-hole kick, you just finally have it pinned to the matNope. Set the mic about 6" away from the resonator head and that helped a bunch. The noise gate helped too.
