I’ve got a jazz bass that has a side output jack that I’m going to relocate to the control panel on the front. Is there someone that makes a solid football jack plate?

I thought of that, but it’s a square hole under the football jack.
Yeah, they’ve got a bunch, but I’m looking for one without the hole. Just a solid oval.Look at StewMac but there are a dozen or so football jack plates.
No, the metal plug is 3/8” and fits in the hole on the oval end plate the Jack was fastened to.I thought of that, but it’s a square hole under the football jack.
Oh, I didn’t realize that. That might just be the way to go if I can’t find a solid oval plate. Thanks! No, the metal plug is 3/8” and fits in the hole on the oval end plate the Jack was fastened to.
I’ve got an active/passive jazz, but I never use the active circuit so my idea was to just go all passive and use a regular jazz control plate with the plate mounted output jack.Consider an electro socket & switchcraft Jack in place of the football style unless you just want to have a control plate mounted Jack.
I’ve been happy changing to these from football style & Tele cup style jacks.
Yeah, I tried that one. It’s the one that looks goofy with the offset holes. I may be nitpicking, but I didn’t like the aesthetic of it.
