I actually haven't gotten a chance to grab it yet. Had some interviews today. But I'm meeting a guy for a BBE Bmax in a day or two. I'm going to try them both out and see if i can tell the difference
BMax is a nice preamp - though read the owners manual. A "flat response" is cranking the mids to 10, and putting the treble and bass each around 2. Very different than just setting everything to 5 and tweaking from there.
