Overdrive pedal suggestions (again)

Another vote here for the Source Audio Aftershock. It can be any of thirty plus fuzz/overdrive/distortion engines and routed internally, any two at a time. Generally, if you can't make a Source Audio pedal sound like what you are listening for, you need to spend some more time in the editor or browsing the presets that user have created. There is tons of support on the Source Audio Sorcerers Society thread, including @rsmith601, who knows a thing or two about their products.

Jam Pedals Lucydreamer Bass. Very mild with an option for boost via a second footswitch. Retains low end very well and is very touch sensitive at all settings. It is one of the few OD pedals I’ve found for bass where the clean blend is optional instead of essential.
Oohh yeah the Lucy Dreamer is great. I have one on my board now.

The Genzler 4 On The Floor Classic Bass Overdrive is very nice. Worth checking out!

Any love for the Aguilar Agro? I’m looking into replacing my EBS Multi-Drive and think I’m going to give the Agro some time on my board.

Not much from me. I found it tricky to keep low end big enough, and ultimately was never satisfied. It's one of the few pedals I felt that really cut lows, or moved the emphasis up too high. I know it's a popular pedal from a reputable company and some folks love it. I think it sounds pretty good except for that issue. Perhaps using it with a Damnation BLoop would make it do what I wanted.

^——- looked that up. Small sound big sound mini. Interesting to have a bias adjust. I was looking at EHX Ripped Speaker fuzz which has that, cool to be able to mess with the texture that way.

Thanks for suggestions. Way too many choices of course!

Great collection of dirts! The only one I don’t have is the Mr. Black Bass OD and they pop up for sale so infrequently I gave up trying to find one.

I have the original Hooker’s Green Bass Machine and only remember seeing one video demo of the 4K version. How does the Lowburst work? Does it interact with with the drive like it does on some of the others?

IMO, that's not a big deal. i had one, and although others may like it, it wasn't my cup of tea at all so i immediately sold it.
