Overwater/ Roscoe

Was checking out an Overwater Progress (beautiful looking bass) today in BD but chanced upon a Roscoe LG4. Really liked it's tone, especially the lows.

Any feedback from any players who have played either of the instruments would be gratefully appreciated. I'm erring on the Roscoe but only slightly.

Had a Roscoe 6 string. Loved the tone, but sold it because I really needed 19 mm string spacing. Currently have an Overwater Progress 6 string fretless. Very heavy woods (wenge, walnut and mahogany), but the tone is spectacular. I had the back of the neck finished in gloss. Roscoes usually have a natural finished neck. Tone is fabulous, too. I think it comes down to what feels and sounds best to you.
