Haven't looked through the whole thread yet, but there are some beauties! Here's my 78 de-fretted Pbass.

Thanks! I really like this bass. I bought this bass from a local music store. It was used but in generally good condition. I'm an old school guy so the upgrades are more cosmetical than functional:

- Changed pickguard from white to tort.
- Installed bridge and pickup covers.
- Polished frets.
- Oiled fingerboard.
- Did a general setup (truss rod, pickup height, action, intonation, etc...)
- Installed straplocks.
- Adjusted tuning pegs.

The paint job is original.

Here is my "new" used p-bass... got it this year for about US$300...
But it got me wondering what exact model it is, since it doesn´t have that S1 thing... can there be a Fender Standard MIA? Or just the fact that it was built in the USA make it an American?

Ive just put a tort pick guard on my HW-One. looks even nicer now. Its the first tort i have owned and while i like it i still might change it for a Black pearloid one instead.

It's a Squier Affinity, i took the decal off of the headstock when I was angry. I had to do a lot of work to this bass, but I like it now.
