She was fantastic, i had the drinking problem, but i have tiny hands and prefer the silky narrowness of jazz basses, she was a bit chunky. I have missed her every day though.

Im not sure of the exact year, but sh is a ever rare 59 custom shop relic, the real deal is the holy grail of p basses, this one was a close second.

Dang man they would of had to pry that from my cold dead hands...a real bute. I bought the 50's reissue which looks just like it in a honey blonde color - the mojo of course. but i'll tell ya for a re-issue its fantastic the way it plays and its spected right down to that bass or a 57.

The only difference is that the white Classic '50s P is alder, rather than ash, which makes it a little bit lighter.

I have one in fiesta red: the dealer told me white was discontinued. I'd rather have white, but I was trading for it so I went along. It immediately became my #1 on gigs, and, in fact, one time when I showed up with a Standard FSR P the band sent me home to fetch the Classic '50s...

...luckily my house is about 3/4 mile from the club.

I personally am not a huge fan, but regardless of what it looks like, it is a p-bass.

Talking about the Mark Hoppus bass. Thought the name was in there.
