Here are my p basses. Sorry, I don't know how that jazz got in there. From left to right... '72, '69, 74'(possible refin) and '59 cs reissue. The Jazz is my newest bass. Its a '62 american vintage reissue with custom matching headstock. I hope you can see the pictures. I'm new at interwebbing.

My MIM Deluxe P Special ... also have an 08 American Jazz, but consider the P my main bass (is punchier). Love the blue/gold combo too!

In another thread I have confessed that i love the J Bass. The body shape, the sound (by itself) is superior to everything else if you ask me. But when it comes to work and getting heard in a complex sound situation, then it´s time to pull out the P. That´s why my L-series ´65 looks a bit worn these days. Jaco´ed the day after I saw Jaco in Weather Report for the first time, and today the PG doesn´t fit due to shrinking. Today only used when never-changed-strings-sound is needed, otherwise retired and replaced by a Squier JV. My fretless P was born in ´78.

something really special about them, I can't explain...they are THE working man's bass, I guess...

I love basses, love Jazzes, love stingrays, love the modern J/MM things...but when you play a P...well, you're HOME!
