EricF, Thats a sweet P/J (what make?). Congrats on the '68-P. I would have to stumble on to a '69, coundn't afford it now if ever, I blew all my spare $ on a new ampeg rig (4x10HE,115E,SVT3Pro).

Ebay. I have only seen one other for sale like it. If you do a seller search on Ebay for guitargai, he was my seller.

Yes, it's an Alumitone (Stratcoaster pickup). In general, not as mid cut as the '51 RI pickup. Punchier in the low mids and lows. It's a little bit like a dual coil P bass tone but with a bit more high end presence.


It's also a very good humbucker so no noise.
