I understand the rules are 1 pickup max, but I hope this will qualify for an exemption. First off, I didn't do the hack. Wish to heck I could undo it but that body is so resonant I'm not going to replace it or mess with it in any way. As far as tone goes, it's definitely "P". Even has a "raised A" polepiece!

I don't know if it's club-worthy but it's what I call my P-bass and it's the one I'll never sell.

I've had the same flatwounds on since I got it in '00. Does that help?

Awesome, WoT--I hadn't seen the 600/Schroeder rig yet, congrats! I bet that kicks. I like the Fender-ish grill, too.
