P-Bass Love

OK since I'm experiencing a bit of a P renaissance I'll post my other baby......
Classic Vibe Squier with new tort pickguard. MIM standard pickup, new pots and Elixir strings.
This is the best playing fretted bass I've ever owned.

All my Fenders are PJ's these days, And as much as I love PJ's, I really want a stock Precision. In black/maple like yours. Except I want a black pickguard so it looks like Roger Waters' bass. Had a 79 that looked like Roger's bass, but wasn't in love with it. I like newer ones better, honestly.

I've been gassin' for a MIA 5 string Pbass for a while. I finally got to play one at GC a few days ago and was quite awesome. I did miss the extra 4 frets a d neck was a bit sticky but the tone was there for days. I'm pretty sure my next bass to add to my selective stable will be a 5 string P or PJ of some sort. Maybe a Mike Lull or Lakland or an old fashioned Fender. Definitely sunburst with a tort guard too. Im craving some old school looks.
