P bass strings

Chromes 45-100. Also i have some flatwounds on my p-bass reissue but theyve been on for years and can't remember the brand.. Theyre purple at the headstock where you put it through the tuners, any help on that would also be good as these are extremely mellow.

Pbasses love flatwound strings so I'd suggest GHS Precision Flats. They'll give you that warmer mellower tone your looking for. If you don't want to go all the way over to flats try the GHS Pressure wounds. Also mellow and warm but more expressive with some of the characteristics of a roundwound.

I use the Pressure Wounds on my Jazz Bass and they're a great match for what I like to get out of it and the Precision Flats I took off the Jazz Bass will go on a the PBass I'll buy later this year.

Either string will give you most of what you're looking for.
