P bass - white with maple

I saw the band on the Conan O'brien show last night -- the act wasn't exceptionally memorable, but the bassist played a nice looking P that looked pretty cool. Anyone want to share pics of their white w/ maple P? (I can't decide if I prefer the white or black pickguard)

I dig the black pickguard better. It looks more solid and punkish.
How could it not look punkish, with that kind of celebrity endorsement history?

Edit: Oh noes, that last one is rosewood! That guy is such a poser! :rolleyes:
I guess that means we won't be seeing the Squier Vintage Modifieds around this thread, right? Pity, I always like them.
