Jamareo, it's good to see you on here (and on the show as well). So far, you and Tim have demonstrated (at least to me) that it's possible to be on a "reality" TV show and not get caught up in the drama (maybe that happens later? - not fishin!!). Still, please keep doing what you're doing. Tell me a little about your taste in basses. Are you fan of the P-bass or do you just play whatever you have, as long as it sounds good?

Whats up bro!!! Yea, I'm a peaceful noncontroversal guy. I really just like to do my job and get along with everyone. As far as basses are concerned, I love Fender's all day. I'm a big P-Bass fan, that was the first bass I've ever had. I always have been a fan of James Jamerson/Pino Palladino tone, it's very warm. I also like some MTD's, some Lakland's are pretty nice, I love Performance Custom Jazz Basses, Elrick's, Fodera NYC Empire Basses are nice as well. It's all in what makes you feel comfortable and what tone you're going for, it's all in the hands really. I'm cool with any bass, I love the way Fender's feel though.

Hey whats up??!! No, I like my Little Phatty...I want a Roland Juno too, but I want an older one like the Juno 2 or the Roland Polysynth. I've been looking into some other boards, I love the way Moog's feel. After playing the old '75 Micro Moog on the show I fell in love.

Thanks Buogon, I like the music scene in LA it's alot going on. I have to be honest, I didn't enjoy doing MTV Reality Show to much. I wouldn't mind doing TV gigs, talk shows, etc if I'm a judge or something or in the hot seat already. :-)

I wish they would have shown us playing more bass, we had alot of jam sessions using bass that they didn't show. Most of Diddy's new album will consist of either keybass or none at all, so bass parts have to be made. It will be alot more bass playing in the concerts though, just alot of keybass on the show. Keep watching every Sat. @ 9 PM, it's 2 more episodes left!!! Bout to get interesting.

I have to ask, what do you enjoy so much about your Fender? I mean, you have the chops to play any company out there, and you stick with the Big F.

Im a supporter too, but Im just wondering! Is it a personal connection, a gift from a family member or friend? Or is it just "the one" for you?

I guess I should not speak for Jamereo, but the man says he loves Jamerson and Pino, what better bass could he play than P-bass?

Hey J,

It's all of that, that you said. It was a gift from my Dad actually, he knows I'm a big fan of P-Basses. I personally love the warm tone that P-Basses have to offer, and the nice meaty growl that Jazz Basses offer. Fenders have a magical touch to me, they feel great and sound excellent. I get my own tone out of my P-Bass, everything is still stock except for the Bridge that I changed.

There is no fakeness on this show at all, Rawbiz or any other castmate can all tell you the same thing about that issue. As for Dean Guitars, my friend Mick Donner who works at US Masters Bass Company hooked me up with that when I was playing with a Gospel Quartet Group from 2004-2008. I haven't had the big time experience, I did get the chance to do plenty of shows with the group that included many other Artists in Gospel and R&B markets. I got to do an Expo with the Group in ATL before which included Bow Wow and others and our band got to play with the DJ some. Thanks for watching me though, thanks to everyone who has been supporting me.

What model P do you have? I thought I saw a J pickup in the bridge position.

I thought I saw the same thing!!! It sure sounds like a PJ combination to me-great sounding bass!!! Reminds me of an old Ibanez Roadster(tone)that I wish I still had.

As far as the keyboard bass issue is concerned, it wouldn't make sense to conceal those skills if you had them-especially for this gig!!!!

Cool Brad,

Yes Sharay did audition in Chicago but didn't want to come to LA. Brockett is my best friend from the house, he always messes with me about that. The thing about the keybass once again is not staged or by no means a front. Brockett was making an example of me, I was around the house really nervous and scared I would be sent home if I didn't learn those parts in time for the challenge when I first started playing. The day of the show I had all of my parts to every song, didn't play them with the best feel but you knew I put in alot of time and effort. I am really thankful that everything worked out the way it did. As far as the Dean thing, I already explained. I have never worked personally with those Artist Bow Wow and Omarion but shared the same stage as them is what that Bio was saying. I told them to take that Bio down because it is now stirring up controverse and I don't even play or endorse them anymore. When they fired the guy who got me the Endorsement as Artist Manager I left too.
