Page turner for my iPad?

I purchased a cheap page-turner pedal that’s supposed to work for iPad apps, to turn pages in acrobat, ideally. Well. It doesn’t work and I don’t like the bulkiness on the more pricey ones. So, I discovered that I can turn pages with my small Apple Magic Keyboard. However, it’s big and would be hard to hit the key with my foot. So, I’m going to mount it on the underside of my holeyboard basic, and then design and 3D print some switches to align through the holes on the holeyboard to hit the right keyboard keys when tapped.

Anyone ever try to do such a thing?

The Stomp does look great and if I was starting from scratch would be looking into it. However this AirTurn works for me.

I feel like you're taking the long way around to a relatively simple DIY gadget.

Building a computer keyboard from scratch is easy. A whole lot easier than a Rube Goldbergian mechanism that uses levers to tap a Bluetooth keyboard.

A Bluetooth foot switch is basically the same thing as a Bluetooth keyboard, just with a smaller number of buttons which are bigger and in a sturdier case. If you ask for tips on the Invalid Link Removed subreddit, you should get some good help.

Wouldn't it be easier to just learn the songs? [/snark] :p
I'll see myself out.
Depends on how you use it, we use during rehearsal with notation and for backup/vocals only. So gets used to rehearse a pretty large catalog of music during practice and before gigs. If you can store all of that info for 120+ songs across multiple bands, in your head for instant recall, then 'good for you'!

I ordered, because I really like the idea that the stomp is simple/mechanical/metal vs the AirTurn, which has worked pretty well for me but I have hit the wrong button in low light and they're not really actual buttons so I ended up on the wrong song when while singing lead, during rehearsal... but not a great experience.

Having had a cheaply page Turner that intimately failed (not mention turning various numbers of paged). You need this:

An AirTurn BT-200/S-2.

5 years-zero failure.
