Oh, I thought this was getting an Ash body. My suggestion wouldn't work with Walnut, as it is a tight, closed-grain wood.

Sorry!

i could swap models as i have het to be sent the final build sheet… but as it stands i am looking at solid colours. Jt kind of hinges on if i want the semi hollow body or not . My plan was to get it just for noodling around unplugged. I think it would look “pretty” with aqua also.

Perhaps boring, but you'll be able to play it anywhere and look good.

Slight digression: Despite voting for Ferrari Green (and mentioning that I'd prefer Ferrari Yellow even more) I sometimes wonder whether those super hi-viz colors can be a liability...like, has anyone ever had a bandleader/music director say "Okay seriously, can you bring a less conspicuous instrument to the next gig please?"

I was researching greens.

i think ferrari green may be “verde germoglio”.

I wonder how it compares to porsche gelbgrun green. Always hard to say with photo saturation. But the ferrari green has more yellow. In some photos it looks almost a bit olive.
