I have to agree with Ferrari Yellow.
With a Dingwall you want something as outrageous as the bass.

Sorry, but this one reminds me of my neighbor's Jeep.

Is that the actual grain or a stock version of the bass. Maybe ask to see the body grain before deciding to paint over it if it's especially nice I'd keep it natural but otherwise aqua blue is my vote
It will be an ab2 likely… so walnut. I prefer the solid color ab1’s because the body tapering by your right arm does not allow the top wood to be symmetrical. Imho if you want wood, you go abz (no burst) or z.

So for a little fun… i am having a Dingwall six string ab2 made for me. Wenge neck (non negotiable). The body colour is still to be 100% settled. Please vote.

for me any custom Dingwall that’s not an alder body id want to see some wood grain personally. Either natural or a transparent finish to show off the nice wood you’re paying for. If you’re going with an alder body I’d pick the white or the blue below the white,

Yeah 100% makes sense. But i prefer ab models in solid colours due to this area. I dont like the visual asymmetry it creates… even with bursts. Z3 is the way to go to showcase wood imho. Without a laminated top it is fine however.

My preference when using a dark neck/fretboard is to have a high contrast body. This typically means something bright. You have the Matte Ducati White option included, which is a great look but I've always found it to be a little cold. When I built my Super J I spec'd out a pearl white that I spotted on a coworker's Lexus. The paint shop didn't exactly match the references but what they did was excellent. It's a warmer option for white that would blend with the wenge differently than the Ducati white. Not sure if it's your thing or not, but thought I'd point it out.
