Paramore weird mustang bass?

I use to like paramore alot when they were not as big as they are now, the last show I saw of them was august 2007 at warped tour. I bought one of there shirts which now has 7 holes in it haha.

Jeremy davis usually use's Precision basses never saw him with one of these. Its almost looks like some old Japan Import or something.

Not to be rude but I always think "Douche" when I see that phrase, what about their music is any better or worse now that they are more popular. I used to know a guy in high school who would give his music away once they got too popular, basically anyone with a video that got airtime on MTV. Such a silly way of thinking.

I feel that way about Muse. Ever since they got popular, they went on auto pilot. It seems like they had some success with a few songs, so they built a formula around them. A lot of bands are that way. I don't really think Paramore falls into this category though, because they had a formula from the beginning. I do understand where you are coming from though. It's ridiculous to stop liking bands just because they got popular, even if their music is still great.

He's got a point for Paramore. The latest album has 2 good songs. Maybe three. The rest are slow ballads, and while I appreciate them trying to break out of the paramore mold, it's just not interesting. Riot was pretty well written all through out, and their early album was decent for a debut. That said, I can't only take so much choppy guitar before my ears bleed so I only listen to a few songs at a time. Nothing against them, but they certainly have a signature sound.

I looks like a Fender Bass VI converted to a 4 string.

I have to admit that it looks most like the Fender Custom Shop modeled it after a Fender Bass VI. Good eye.

According to the fender blog, Jeremy designed the bass in photoshop combining elements of a Fender Jazz Deluxe bass and a Fender VI then gave it to Dennis Galuszka to make into reality. Looks like Josh Farro and Taylor York did similar things for their guitars although not creating new designs.

Well this is a late response.

There music just started sucking ass the bigger they got, the bigger they have gotten the worse it seems, like every album seems to progress down hill yet people still buy there stuff and reason being is its Paramore.

Bass VI body converted to 4 string with Jazz pups.

Easy enough to make or have made. US Custom Guitars makes a BassVI body. Get a Bronco or SX 3/4 bass neck, graft onto body. Then add the appropriate paint, pups, pickguard, etc.

Personally, I would have sunk the neck further into the body and moved the bridge back to 1 to 1/2" from the bottom. Dif'rent strokes....
