Paramore weird mustang bass?

Paramore_SG_12.jpg

Could be a Fender custom shop? That certainly looks like a Fender neck and headstock.

It almost looks like a Deluxe Jazz with a funky body cut.

Haven't really listened to Paramore, but that song was ok. The singer is pretty hot minus the goofy hair dye. She has a good voice, but not too good at writing lyrics. The music was good though.

Getting back on topic, I don't know what the hell he's playing. At first I thought it was a Jazz, but hte bridge is way too far up and the bottom horn is too short. Beats me :eyebrow:

Different folks.... I like it, haha

Zactly.

it aint jaguar body, i know that much

I agree, it's definitely not a jaguar body. I simply meant that it has characteristics of a jag. Like Diogenes said, just look at the lower horn.

Coincidentally, does anyone think the bass looks good? I'm interested in finding out what it is, but man that is an ugly bass... To each his own, I suppose.

I use to like paramore alot when they were not as big as they are now, the last show I saw of them was august 2007 at warped tour. I bought one of there shirts which now has 7 holes in it haha.

Jeremy davis usually use's Precision basses never saw him with one of these. Its almost looks like some old Japan Import or something.

It almost looks like a Lakland Decade body with jazz pups, which are an option when ordering a USA Decade.

That was my thought until seeing the video linked above with the clip from fender talking about how it was custom shop. Maybe it's a Decade-inspired-custom-shop-hacked 62RI jazz. They do make some odd stuff for endorsing artists/those willing to pay for them (see Tye Zamoras 6 strings).
