Paramore weird mustang bass?

I saw some video of theirs at like 2 in the morning on MTV and saw the bassist has like a mustang bass but it was setup like the guitar, 2 pups ect. Any info?

Don't think I've seen a sunburst finished J bass with an anodised gold PG. Don't like it

The plate is bent and the pups are tilted and the bridge is way to damn close to the pg.

Edit: Its neither a jazz or a mustang but sure as hell not a production model

jeremy davis, one of my favorite basses, uses only jazz basses from what i know.
the guy is actually pretty good, he played a mean 5 string when paramore started.

Same here, most of my friends are like Metallica junkies so I would be shunned for liking them, I think the lead singer is cute too... that may just be cause she has a gap in her teeth like I do

I don't know about the bass (looks like a Jazz to me, maybe not a Fender tho), but that is a sweet song. And, IMO, there is nothing guilty about liking Paramore, there is some real talent there.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think those look like standard J pickups from that pickup. Could just be the picture though.
The control plate and pickguard are different shapes then normal, and the body sort of reminds me of a jaguar?
Also, is that some sort of inlay at the 12th fret?
