Paramount ABG

Has anyone heard of Paramount Basses? I live in Thailand, and have found one here for about 250 U.S. dollars, so I doubt it's made by the Paramount Guitars based in Wisconsin.

Anyone have a clue?

Wow, forgot about this one...

So, I bought the Paramount ABG a few months back. I ordered their cheapest one for about 135$ The factory (in Bangkok) sent the wrong model. They sent one that costs twice as much, and due to paperwork errors (and a 10$ bribe) I was allowed to keep it for the original 135$ !!!
So here's what I got... A decent sounding ABG with an eq and line out. It sounds much better plugged in! The finish is quite nice, but the bridge is the ugliest cheapest looking piece of crap you've ever seen. It's not adjustable, so I can't intonate it. Fortunately it's pretty close as is. The G string goes a bit out of tune after about 20 minutes of playing, and I had to install my own strap hooks.

Other than that it's pretty sweet. For the price, it was a steal. In Thailand, everything musical is more expensive, even if it's made here, so I feel like I did pretty well on this one...

As I'm on holiday in Switzerland now, I don't have pics for ya, but maybe when I get back to Thailand...
