All four of my kids play at least one instrument. The oldest plays guitar and bass, the next guitar, bass, keys,drums. My daughter plays guitar and banjo. The youngest caused me some concern, but this year has taken up drums and is a natural. It's quite rewarding when they all get together and jam.

Passing the Musical Torch to your kid......

My kids are just starting out. Current ages are 9,8 and 6. My oldest is learning the sax and bass from me. She sings in the church choir. My second kid also sings in the church choir. In addition she is taking paino lessions. My last kid is starting on the bass and guitar. He says he really wants to play the drums, but I have not been able to get him a set yet.
