Well, anyway, I've never proclaimed Felix to be a world class bassist.
What I say, though, is that he got some attitude in his playing. And I really like that. If you see that video when he's on after wooten....His show isn't that amazing. ( Neither was wootens oh-so-repetative slapping, if you ask me
) But: I think he got a lot of attitude in there. I love it when I see bassist that really -to quote a large sports brand - just do it!
And about living up to being Jacos son. Well, it can't be that easy either. Everybody expects something from you all the time. And they are ALWAYS gonna say "he's not even remotely close to being as good as his father". He's gonna hear that for the rest of his life.
That being said, I'm sure he also gains ALOT of advantages. Like having that fodera bass. But hey, he is after all Jacos son
