Most of my cables are EBS flats. I have had issues with other cables, so when I went to the EBS ones, I bought a few extra - I carry spares in my cable bag to every gig. 500 gigs later, I haven't needed a spare.

I still have all but two of the EBS flat cables I bought about a year after they came out, and both failed because I got a little careless with yanking on them.

I'm in my 3rd year with a set of the Donner 6" flat cables from Amazon. I'm sure the EBS cables are "better", but I haven't had a single failure with the Donners, and at $20 for a 6 pack, I can't complain.

For a board that I don’t intent to take a part, I like 3 Monkeys Solderless.

Another vote for EBS flats. Gold or High Performance. And in the last couple years they reduced the contact housing by 30%. That makes pedals with a lot of inputs/outputs close together even easier to work with.

I use Evidence SIS solderless system. Very easy to assemble and modify when things change on the board, and very low profile. In the past 5-6 years I used them I had only an issue once where a bit of copper wire broke off in one of the plugs, luckily I someone gave me a tip to use a toothpick to unscrew that ending and saved the plug from trash.

If it must be soldered, then Squareplug connectors and whatever cable fits them (apparently Evidence's Monorail does), again they beat everyone else with tiny form factor.

Just cheap Amazon cables called Audioblast! They’re very flexible with pancake connectors and do a great job. My opinion, running the signal through 10 pedals, the “tone suck” isn’t going to be the 6 inch cable, it’s that boss OC2 you’re still using lol

Another EBS Flat convert here. Judging by the replies and the current state of the poll I would bet the ranch (or most of it) that almost all of the 'Other' votes (92.2% right now) would be for EBS Flats had that been an option. IME the pressed metal 'pancake' connectors used on the HOSA cables are a huge weak-spot. The MXR robustness and reliability might be there but those hefty metal connectors take up far too much real-estate IMHO.

Fender patch cables look well made and quite robust. I own one, which has provided reliable service so far. Kinda bulky and not so flexible though.

I voted “Other” as I make my own patch cables. Mogami and either SP500 right angle square or SP55 straight plugs depending on need.
