PAUL GODDARD

Just caught this! I saw ARS do "Champagne Jam" on Midnight Special back when I had just got interested in bass. Saw the bass solo. :bassist: I was brand-new green; I went and dug-in, and learned that devastating episode of musical prowess as soon as I could muster the cojones to go there!

Glad he's back, to be involved with what you love is good medicine for heartbreak and trouble. Right on Paul, and thanks for the music! And the lessons.

I had seen ARS and Paul and was properly impressed. My band did "Angel" and there was one girl at the gig who would request that song. When we saw her someone would say "There's Angel" and I knew to get my pick and get ready to play it. A year later I was at a Starcastle concert and spoke to Paul about the bass drum amp next to his bass amp. It was a great idea , then and now.

Oooooh! Yes indeed. I'm doing a once-a-month disco gig at a local casino for the summer/fall, and this is interesting.

Saw them last night! Paul was awesome!

cool thread and a happy ending!

geezer here and remember well I was always impressed with the quality of everything ARS did - even if the tune wasn't exactly to my taste there was an obvious excellence there
