I'm not a fan of Slipknot. They had couple of tunes that I dug but not never was a fan. But after watching the interviews of Paul Gray talking about his gear, playing, how the band came about, I think he seems like a really nice guy.
He gets a great tone out of his Ibanez bass, especially for using 115 gauge strings tuned to B (as he claims). Also has a nice smile/charm while he plays without the mask.
RIP to Paul Gray.
