Paul's Rickenbacker

if you go to this link, you can see there are a few Beatle-era shots of him onstage with his "cavern" hofner by/behind the amps as a backup bass, but I still cant find any with the Ricky: When did Paul McCartney's Höfner bass made its come-back on stage with him?

Supposedly when he did that album with Elvis Costello, Elvis asked him to use it or asked him why he wasn't using it anymore or something like that, I read it a long time ago..

I know, I was just posting that url to show there are Beatle-era photos of him with both hofners onstage, but none (so far) with the Ricky onstage (as a backup)

..but I've still to find any shots of him actually playing it on this final tour..maybe he never did.
I really don't think he did, this was discussed quite a bit on the Rickenbacker forum, it he had played it there would have been pictures and they'd be very common.

He used one in the "I am the Walrus" video.... but I am not sure it is the same one because it has a "pattern" painted on it.
BTW, when I saw this (maybe one of the first music videos?) when I was a kid, I thought it was scary as hell and I thought the song was really creepy. Now that I know that the song is a fun bit of nonsense.... it looks to me like the Beatles were having a blast doing this film and probably laughing their asses off about it!

..you are digressing..this thread is about photos/film of him using his Ricky on the Beatles 1966 tour..and yes, it's the same Rickenbacker bass, used in the Magical Mystery Tour film and the All You Need Is Love world broadcast
Not to digress too much further, but how about those Teisco amps for John and George at the Budakan show while Paul still has his Vox amps.
Is this the same bass he used on the Wings Over America tour and album? I heard it was stripped to natural at some point.
