Pawn Shop Gems?

Ok, so the Mustang is a 93-94.
And I decided against getting the P-body. Not sure why, but I started to geta bad vibe from the place.

I actually went into a pawn shop this weekend and saw a Sunburst Fretless Fender Jazz Bass for 200. They only accepted cash, but you can bet I will be back in a few days to check it out.
Well, I was able to get the shop guy to go as low as $300 for the '93 MIJ Mustang.
Was more than I really wanted to pay, I offered him $100 then $200, then stopped there since my budget is kinda on the low side.
Is the Mustang worth $300 or more or what?

I had that same bass ! i bought it kept the nice hardshell case and sold it to some guy at a profit today now he listed it on ebay the same day!!!! he is hoping to profit i guess lol

it was a guitar, but came accross an Epiphone SG with a seymour duncan humbucker/dimebucker setup for like £120, pretty sure i could have made a profit out of that, but didn't buy it
never seems to be any cool basses in my local, always washburns or some lesser known makes and all just look/feel awful
still check from time to time though, would hate to miss out

I got this Roscoe's twin brother, a lefty, for $400 in 1998 though not from a pawn shop. My best pawnshop score was a '72 Musicmaster guitar for $120 a few years ago. Flipped it for almost $500 and put the money toward one of my Alembics.
Scored my '93 CIJ jazz recently for aroun $400. Almost MINT! It sounds incredible with my SVT. The fit and finish are PERFECT! It became my main player over night! Score! It may not have been the deal of the century, but now that I have gotten to "know" this bass, I would have payed much more.
