I feel like this is a troll-bait thread, but heck I'll bite...
Hell yeah I LOVE Pearl Jam! Iconic band! Ten (their debut album with "Alive," "Evenflow," "Black," "Jeremy") is an absolute classic album that rocks from beginning to end!
And outside of the music, they had the guts to try and take on TicketMaster and those monopolies. So mad respect!
Oh, and they always put on a really good live show.
So, yeah, viva la Pearl Jam! 90s rock was amazing! And Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament is a damn good bassist with some really fun parts to play. "Evenflow" is super fun to play on bass. Especially during that break when that bass groove takes front and center, you can REALLY have fun with that adding your own stank to it! Definitely a fantastic song for the bassist to shine on because they get a little spotlight.
Enjoy playing Pearl Jam! Great band, great songs, fun bass parts, band has excellent taste wanting to put Pearl Jam on the setlist! One could argue that there are "better" bands of that era, but Pearl Jam is such an iconic band, people know their songs, so songs like "Evenflow" are definite crowd-pleasers.
I say embrace "Evenflow" on the setlist, play the daylights out of that song, and own the stage like a rock star during that break section with the bass groove up front! Get that crowd going, yeah!
