peavey 112m horn

the horn or tweeter in one of my peavey 112m's has quit working. swapped with other cab, still didnt work.

anyone know where i can locate a replacent? havent seen anything like it online or the peavey site.

i thought i might just throw any tweeter or horn in there but im not sure what the ohms are. theres no crossover in the cab so this may be a critical issue.

You telling us there is no crossover confirms my suspicions... It's a Piezo. No crossover needed.

Both of them use Piezo tweeters or Horns. Whichever you wanna call them. If you want to keep both of your monitors sounding the same, buy 2 of the same models and install them in both of your monitors.

it has an attenuator knob, no equalizer

The Attenuator knob just turns down the horn. It's a Piezo. Easily found. Just replace it.

pulled it out, took it apart, looks alot like a tiny speaker cone.

If what you are seeing is what I'm thinking you are looking at is referred to as a Diaphragm. Sometimes it can be replaced. Good Luck on finding a replacement for it tho. That is why I suggested that you just replace the complete unit.
