Might as well join in. I am currently using a Firebass 700. Love this amp. Bought it back in 2002. It's the third Peavey amp I've used. The first was a Century Bass with a 115 cabinet, followed by a Mark III with a 215.

i attempted a threat about this every says don't mix cabs and to get another 15 not sure which one since there aren't that many 4 ohm cabs around

Wouldnt have to get a 4 ohm cab, and I had planned on getting a peavey cabinet

Wow, how have I missed out on this thread for so long?

I love everything about my old-school TNT 115 except the weight (and the chorus, but I don't use that anyway). I might also grab a TVX 410 and either a Tour 700 or a Peavey power amp soon, too. I don't gig much with the TNT 115 because it's so hard to move, but I might add the TVX to my gig rig for those times when I need a little extra boom.

I own a Windsor for power to my 69' 2-15". I have other 15"s running out of Mark VIII. Seems to have plenty of sound. See my 15"s on eps-15c for bass post. From a longtime VF fan.

I picked up an older made in USA TVX 210 cabinet. I'm planning on using a Tour 700 with it or an older Peavy Megabass if I can find one.

My first amp was a mk VIII with an 1820 cab. Then I went Ampeg for a Number of years. Now, I'm back with Peavey.

I have a Peavey BAM 210 sitting on top of a 4 ohm 115BX BW. Makes the windows shake in my church.

I also got a great deal on a KB-300 (older model) from craigslist which we use as a drum amp.

The BAM is great although once I realized it worked best with a 4 ohm extension, I scrambled to hunt one down. It took a little while but I finally found one for an alright price in good shape. The 210 on top of the 115 seems to work just fine. No weird phasing just lots of thumping. The modeling features of the BAM are really cool, almost too much really. Every time I pick up the manual, I learn something new, and I'm an electrical engineer.

I have owned Peavey since I started. Peavey Microbass amp, then Nitrobass head, now Mark III (nonworking) and Alpha tube pre. I also have a 2-15" Peavey cab. Love me some Peavey.

That's the way it works with my BAM 210. I had a hard time finding a 4 ohm cab. Finally found one at a shop outside Baltimore.
