I checked out all those links. Of course, the model I have is near the end, selling for $370 in CT. All of the others are either older or newer, and definitely different.
Thanks again everyone. You've given me a lot to think about. For joinery purposes, I'll probably use butt joints with a series of wooden dowels inserted and glued through the joints.
