Peavey done for?

You are right, we can be very self centered at times, even with nations we claim are our closest friends.
I really hope Peavey isn't " Done For " that would be a sad day.
But here's what Peavey have done for me

Every so often "someone" or "they" say Brand X is going out of business. I don't know if it's wishful thinking or just rumors or even fact based rumor.
I think that doing Undercover Boss was a fiasco-- and shame on Hartley for even going there. He should have never agreed to do the show. I can only imagine how nasty that business is handled by other big music companies that jumped ship on Americans AND our British allies.
The fact that people got laid off when they did shows that Hartley kept them much longer than Fender, Ampeg, Marshall, and all the other companies that flew the coup decades ago.
TV shows are run by scummy people and they bend the "reality" of the show to suit their needs. We don't really know what happened during the whole process, only the crappy version they fed us. Shame on us for believing any of that crap.
I hope Peavey doesn't fold, and I hope they come back with an American and British product- Peavey American Standard and Trace Elliott, and make the Trace amps in the UK where they came from.
Good luck to Peavey. I own a good collection of silver fin Peaveys. They will probably outlast me in the next few decades. I think Peavey has the potential to do great things the American way again. Everyone loses their way, I hope Peavey finds its way back.
