Peavey Dyna- preamp/electronics replacement

I got a nice deal on a 80s Peavey Dyna bass ($80). The only catch is it's missing the electronics (preamp, pots, wiring ect). The super ferrites are still there so that's a big plus.

So I have a bank slate to work with. The bass is in awesome condition.

I have 5 empty holes and a selector switch. Any suggestions? I could go the active route or keep it passive.

Jealous!

Volume/Blend and a three-band preamp seems like a safe bet.

But I think I would probably opt for Volume/Blend/Filter/Filter/Bass Boost…. JTEX does this, or you could combine some other filters with just the bass boost control from a conventional two-band. Or ditch the switch and do Filter/Filter/Bass/Treble.

Or…..
