Bought a second hand Peavey Fury from '95 (according to its serial#), it's got a p-bass pup.
The volume and tone knobs made noise when you would mess with them. Also, there would be a very noticeable (read: annoying) hiss that would go off if i touched one of the knobs or the bridge
Sent it to a tech so he could give it some maintenance. He fixed most of the volume and tone knob dirt (although the tone knob still has some) and said there was some wire/cable that would ground the circuit to the bridge that was disconnected and reconnected it.
But there's still this ground(?) noise that goes a little off when i touch the knobs or the bridge. Is it the pup? Did the tech didn't do his job? It's driving me nuts i'll get it a new pick up if necessary, but i don't know if maybe it could just have an easy fix to solve it.
Any other Fury owner's got this issue?
