Anyone have experience with a Peavey GateKeeper? I know that they are not the best but the used ones that pop up once in awhile seem reasonably priced. I'll be using for the drums.

Peavey Gate Keeper - Any Experience?

Wow, that takes me back!
Yup, I used to use them a lot. For the price, they can't be beat IMO. Very quiet opening / closing (especially for the price), and do what they do very well. They obviously don't have all the sidechain / freq sensitive stuff that the higher end ones do, but for a band just looking to tighten up the drums for a cheap price, grab it.

Yeah....they're ancient...I know! But I figured to tighten up the drums. Exactly for what you said.
