Peavey IPR Users - How is this amp working out?

Two IPR1600's still in use, sound great, no shut downs or overheating (even when 120 in the shade). Mine are in PA use one stereo mains, second split between subs and foldbacks. They get bass duty for larger gigs outside through DI or miked. Whole band runs through them. Best resent investment I have made (3 years now IIRC) in the PA :).

Looks like I beat CLPeavey to the IPR in the classifieds. Getting it today. Will compare it vs a Behringer EP2500 which has been damn good but heavy,

I'm going to run two 8ohm mains & two 8ohm subs. I've been able to use just the EP2500 for all 4 speakers. I'm a little hesitant to do that with the IPR3000 however. Most of the time we wont be micing drums & wont be using subs... those gigs will get the IPR3000 for sure

Eff... Would have made a great bass amp... :D

I was just looking at it as an option to run my 1515/66 off of one channel and monitors off the other.

I dig the lights, I always ask our keys player if he is epileptic.

My ART pro channel II into my IPR 1600 has been flawless. Either bridged or not, into either my 15/6 or 1515/66. Great amp, great value.

I dunno man, past reports of sensitivity to wall voltage, running it a little too hard when I can break up the work between the two, just a little skeptical? Talk me into it dammit! :ninja:

I also have a PBDDI I could use as a pre\power backup to both the PA & my rig.

Wattage wise the EP2500 & IPR3000 are pretty close

Even running two amps you would most likely still be on the same circuit.

Run everything, your not even at minimum impedance.
