I have a Peavey Mark VI and I'm running it through a Kustom cabinet w/ 2 - 15" SRO speakers and I'm interested in using the crossover with a horn or high freq speaker. Any suggestions or experience w/ this?

That is old school... Ran a very similar rig many years ago.. cab was a Peavey reloaded with EV Forces (not a good combo, had to EQ out everything @200Hz,).. but to answer your question it would be fairly simple to accomplish. I would suggest 6" midrange(s) instead of a tweeter. Would be very easy to build up a small external cab with one or two Alpha 6A's, integrate a 100W plate amp in the box, and cross over about 800Hz..
You will need a second power amp or amp to do the bi-ampping with the Mark VI, it only has one power amp.

This is correct. Peavey offered the 210P back at that time. A sealed 2x10 with a Mark IV 210W power supply built into the cab. Weighed a ton but worked great bi-amped with a Mark IV.
One route that you could take - get a small combo amp, such as a Peavey Max 158 - it has a 8" speaker. Or something with a 10" and a tweeter - then use the electronic crossover in the Mark VI
I had one of these years ago and I'd run the high out through a tube guitar amp @ 500hz for some clean lows/mid high grind. The chorus is through the high out only in biamp mode.
