Only got to play with it for 1/2 hour yesterday, it definitely has 1000 watts, I was only on 3 with a 500 watt 4 X 10 cab and it was moving the cones considerably, very loud. I am practicing with it tonight, and putting it through its paces. I noticed that the fan comes on immediately weather it is under load or not, I have been used to the MB800 only coming on when it is being worked over.

While the MB800 has a hefty power section of its own, it is not capable of the 2Kw burst figure the MM sports. Different cooling for good reason.

I think there was something like 100 released in the first go. So that number hitting TB sounds about right.
