Peavey MiniMega 1000

I'm still considering a MiniMega, as my Ampeg is still within the 45 day return window :)

I'd like some clarification though.
How much does it weigh? The website says 9lbs. then the next line says it weighs 6 lbs. Which is it?

What are the size measurements? The website gives the measurements of the shipping box, but not the amp itself

When the compressor is enabled, does is there an LED that shows when the compressor is kicking in?

When mine was on the way, the package tracking showed a weight of 9 #. So, I think that is the weight of the amp in the box with all the packaging. I haven't actually weighed mine myself, though. Nor measured it.

No, the Compressor does not have an LED to show activity.

Did another rehearsal with the loud trio last night and I'm really pleased overall with this amp. It doesn't struggle at all into the 8ohm 212. Looking forward to our gig Saturday night using the hathors. But, praise the Lord, the guitarist was actually trying to control his volume last night so maybe he's seen the light and we'll be reasonable.

Agreed, I would still prefer that option :)

zZounds has a 4 month plan that doesn't require a credit check but you would need to have an actual credit card, not a debit card. There's a small fee, $5.00 or so, along with the first month's payment required upfront. No credit check as far as I know. American Musical Supply has a similar plan but it's for 3 months. I think Sweetwater has something like that as well but if I recall correctly, the fee is a little higher and they will run credit. Not the LONG 36 or 48 month options, I know. :)
