I've got a fondness for Peavey gear, and have owned plenty of it. The Alphabass is on my list of "some day" purchases, I just need to find one. Here's my current Peavey rig, planning to gig with this later in the month:

If you ever get a chance to grab a TVX 412, do it! Your back might not thank you, but your audience will![]()
I have 2 T40's. Never weighed them but they are "tolerable"I’ve owned two T-40’s and traded both off for other stuff. It’s not the weight; it’s the flat neck and fretboard that chased me off. They sound amazing. Curious: how much does yours weigh, and what strings are on it?
I have 2 T40's. Never weighed them but they are "tolerable"I have a couple other basses that are heavier. I typically use D'Addario Pro Steels. The first one I bought was back during the first year they were introduced and the second was one of the "all zero" serial number ones a friend of mine came across. Love 'em.

I would like to find a really clean Century head. Not much power, but simple and indestructible. I use an Ampeg SVT PRO 3 with a Peavey 210TX with Eminence Delta speakers. That cab with the Century would be cool!

My first real bass rig was the PV MegaBass Head, and the 1516 cab, it was a pretty cool rig, wish I still had it.View attachment 3184911 I’m bored and wanted to start a thread: how many all Peavey rigs are out there? Basses are a bonus, but I mean mainly head, cabs, combos, pedals, etc. I have this recently acquired Alpha Bass and two 1505 BX Black Widow cabs, along with a Dirty Dog in the pedal chain. I have a fondness for Hartley’s American-made products that I can’t seem to overcome. I spend a lot of business time in the Magnolia State, and maybe that’s why. How about some love for Meridian, Mississippi?

Yup, that's the one. Man, too bad the unnamed carrier failed at his/her one job...The ones with the aluminum knobs? I bought a 200 version from a fellow TB’er and it arrived dead as a highway armadillo. An unnamed carrier apparently banged it around in transit, but the guy was great about giving me a refund. It was otherwise in immaculate condition. I really wanted to hear it.
