I did just browse Thomann because I thought about replacing one of my Pedaltrain Nano Boards with a slightly bigger one.
Thomann's own Harley Benton comes with a generic bag and costs €39,-
The Pedaltrain Nano+ comes with a higher quality bag and costs €63,-
This seemed to me like the budget and quality choices.
I've owned several Pedaltrains and they were robust enough to withstand years of gigging without showing the mileage.
Then I found the Mono Lite+. Same size as the Nano+, but the price a staggering €149,- More than twice the cost of the Pedaltrain.
What the heck I thought to myself, these Mono padded bags are great, it might be worth paying extra. I clicked on it - only to find out that not only Mono does not ship their pedalboard with a bag, they don't even have a fitting model.
They charge more than twice and then don't even ship the board with a means to transport it.
This left me wondering. Why?
