I wonder if I should add a SA OFD to my board? You know just because haha. It would be a nice companion to the orbital and manta.

When you have a hub, it is almost a MUST. I'll explain why.

First off, I love the OFD for getting dirt sounds, I love it for getting dirt sounds that I don't want to invest a full pedal on, etc. BUT, to me, it shines for Hub scenes. Want to make a jet Phaser, done, want to cut or boost volume, cleanly, done, need a volume pedal all of a sudden, done.

Yup now I need one

I don't know dude. That's a pretty cool board :)

I mean, I'm definitely content that this is what I'll be working with haha. For now... ;) Love the 250 for both low and high gain applications. I need to try the Dizzy out in a band mix to really get a feel for it, but I dig it more than any other fuzz I've had. It has a unique character and can definitely get raunchy

Alright I could use opinions. 100 lbs fully loaded board.. too much or reasonable? I mean right at 100 lbs or under but that's still a lot to lift. Has built in casters and plenty of handles. Same size as a PT pro. I'm right on the edge of going to two boards... but even that, having two 50 lbs boards. I don't know. Thoughts? My current mess has me right about 65 to 70

Hey you guys that have boards with wheels. Do you ever get any kind of detrimental effects from the pedals bouncing around? I've been thinking of a board overhaul for a while and really want a hard case that has luggage type wheels, but was afraid of all the bouncing around. It would make moving it much easier.

100 pounds is pretty heavy... For me that is.

I feel like I'm more worried about the stress and strain of pedals as I'm tipping the whole board and carrying them in my (soft Mono) bag than I would be with a little jostling. I dunno.

Yeah that makes sense. Especially since I'm never the one carrying my bag, so it's never getting treated as nicely as I would. I've caught people getting ready to just drop my bag on its top twice. Luckily my wife moves it most of the time and she knows how much we spent on everything so she takes good care of it.:D

100lbs is heavy, and I've been working out my entire life and am a U.S. Army Cavalry Scout. Stay as light as humanly possible without sacrificing the integrity of the build.

Man oh man have I had a bad week. :( Lots and lots of family drama and my brother being in the hospital on 3 separate occasions, one I drove him to, and now he's admitted there with only God knows whats' wrong. :( My best friend is also in the hospital now too with horrible kidney stones. I feel like I've been hit by a truck.

shag it. I'll just say it all.

My brother in law is cheating on my sister, who I love and adore and now I want to smash his piece of poopie face in. Not only that, but I think he's been doing it for years and she's still there!! She didn't leave him. She's trying to work it out and he's denying everything even though he was caught red handed!

My youngest brother was rushed by ambulance twice to the emergency room because of severe abdominal pain, only to be released when they said "ok you seem fine!", then I had to take him back and carry him because he's blacking out from pain. Now it turns out he may have an auto immune disease and something wrong with his small intestines.

And to top it off, my oldest sister, who is a raving lunatic, won't talk to me anymore because I wouldn't talk badly about my father with her. She has lyme's and it's taken a massive toll on her sanity. She has been crazy though for as long as I can remember.

I've been having to take double to triple anxiety meds just to function because I'm losing it. I'm not embarrassed to say it.

It feel weird opening up on Talkbass, but I know you guys are kindred spirits and may understand. Sorry if it feels like I'm being too big of a downer.

Since I'm getting an Orbital that HUB is on its way to me... :)

I think you'll really like the orbital. I know I do. Chorus and phaser are not effects I use often but when I do, it's the orbital I use. And it sounds great
To me.

So, I guess I've got an update. It's been a bit since I posted here. I moved some things around and I think this may be like this for a while. The big game OD is moving along very well. Hopefully it'll be a staple on my board when I get the final version. Im really content with the way things are at the moment. Sucks my Electric decided to take a dump!! I have to get it serviced when I can afford it. It still powers up so I guess that's a good sign. I hope. I know nothing about tube amps but I'm learning. Slowly. The fifth gear is holding a spot for the meatbox. I hope it'll squeeze in there when the day comes.

I have a fully loaded PT Pro...I haven't measured it, it's heavy but I can't imagine that it's 100 lbs. That seems like a lot.

Alas, this is all I shall have until I have paid for college

Tons of great stuff left AND you got to go to college. Sounds like a win win!

I love the Ce-3. I was never much of a chorus guy but that one sounds great. A volume mod wouldn't be all bad though.
