I play in a Rock band that plays metal, and the Boss TU-2 seems to be perfect. I have no need to be ridiculously accurate when playing rock 'n' roll baby!

I'm getting an Octavius Squeezer.
Apparently it does other stuff too, but I'll be using it primarily as a tuner.

The Turbo Tuner is the best: http://www.turbo-tuner.com/
It is better than the Strobostomp (which I have also owned) and cheaper than the Strobo as well, and not much more expensive than the Korg and Boss options.
What do you mean "only bypass is working" for you? Do you mean the tuner is not tuning at all, or what exactly?
