Pedals you love but wish.......

i have a digitech bp355 bass modeling processor. I totally dig this multi-effects processor for it's smooth sound quality and awesome effects, amp and cab models it provides. the one thing I wish it had was a blend control on the distortion channels. that would of been a really nice feature, but I did manage to create distortion patches that has plenty of lows. also a blender pedal can easily fix that. other than that, I really dig this multi-effects processor.

On a similar note, I wish that more multieffects would have amp models and overdrive/dist pedal models in separate modules so you can use them both at the same time, or switch OD in and out whilst retaining the amp sound. My old Boss GT6B did, but the drive sounds were terrible. Whereas the drives on my Zoom b9.1ut were better but all lumped in with the amp models :(

I'd like to see an LS-3 and LS-30.

The 3 would have an A + B + bypass mix setting. The 30 would be a twin pedal with 4 loops and top mounted jacks. That would save a bit of space on my board. Honestly I can't figure out why they haven't made a LS-20 yet.

I'm with you there (I have the 2 Channel Mixer), tried other options... nail polish, Sharpie...etc... ended up just wiping it off and leaving it aluminum... Has that cool metallic factor, but really hard to see sometimes...

But yeah, despite knob setting invisibility in some lighting environments, FEA pedals are the shiz-nit!

Oh, by the by... I actually like the side mounted power jacks on MXR pedals. It leaves the tops clean to butt up against other effects and such, saving valuable board space.

I do wish the modulation adjustments (rate and width) in the Carbon Copy were top mounted instead of internal. Then I wouldn't gas for a Malekko Ekko 616. Though I do love the CC enough not to whine too much about it, and just 'set and forget' for weeks on end.

You could probably set up an expression pedal for any parameter that a pot would normally control. The trouble of making it work is more mechanical engineering than electrical, though.

Wish EBS DynaVerb would replace the 'Room' mode with a 'Spring' mode. Never found any use for room reverb on bass, it muddies up faster than many other verbs. Spring verb is fun and useful. This pedal would even greater than it already is with a spring reverb added.

I wish Octave pedals would track.

I wish the TC Electronic Flashback, which has the potential to seriously be the most frikkin' bad@$$ delay EVER (especially at that size) would do two of the following things, which I have emailed to TC and would ONLY require a firmware update:
1 - Wish the LED would blink in a 1-2-3-4 division (it does this in the Looper mode so I know it's possible) so you could keep an eye on the really long delay times, AND
2 - Wish the 'quiet and strum' tap tempo replacement trick, which is quite honestly genius, would actually track longer delays. It's a 6-second delay, but the 'strum quarter notes' thing only works for quite short delays, unless I've been doing it wrong.

Fix these two issues and that box is GOLD. Seriously, stereo delay with infinite feedback, something like 9 modes (some of which I'll admit are redundant), and an internal dip switch for spillover even in mono-out? Brilliant. Wish others would take a hint from these guys.

YES! THIS!

I was SOOOO disappointed in the EBow, but what did I really expect? I'll accept a battery dying in an hour or less if it'll actually move the strings.. (yes, I practiced, and yes, it worked... but not very well. That's all.)
