Pedals you love but wish.......

I just wish my MXR pedals had the power connector on the top. In general I wish pedal had offset input/output jacks -- the input jack on the right is lower than the output jack on the left so that you can squeeze them in closer without having to stagger the pedals.

This sounds like multi-fx heaven! If this is possible, the developer will be RICH!!! I hope tech-savvy TBers will weigh in on this, because I have no clue.

There are some KILLER ideas in this thread so far!!! So many times I've been reading and just said "wow, that would make that pedal perfect!" Especially the EHX BMS and the 18v power pump suggestions!!

I'd say that I wish the Wounded Paw Battering Ram was not run in series so that I could get the OD tone that I LOVE with that pedal without having to compromise on the fuzz side and vice versa.

I wish the new Xero Deluxe had the power jack on the top (even if it is impossible) and that the MXR power jacks were on the top as well.

I wish there was a way to shove the clean blend on the Pickle Pie B on top of the enclosure with the other knobs instead of on the side.

I wish the Moog pedals weren't so freak'n huge.

I wish that digital modulation didn't sound so fake and 80s. That's always my biggest complaint with the modulation that I've had...maybe it's just that modulation was SO overdone (e.g. flanger and chorus in metal) in the 80s that it's hard to get past that sometimes.

Too bad you can't just plug in a pedal, tell it you are twisting knobs and then it models what happened. I think there's a new amp from Germany that does something like that.

Rather an eye-opening read. Although it doesn't quite capture every control of the modelled amp, it uses their own tone stack for every model (so each amp you model with have the same eq controls), but they state they plan to add other vintage tone stacks at a later date - too bad you can't profile them yourself.

Hmmm..... perhaps these might be the chaps to talk to.

A delay built into a wah enclosure would be cool. I've been thinking it would be neat to be able to have control over the rate but also have options to control repeats and repeat level. For example you could have heal down be slow, toe fast but have the ability to control the repeat rate and volume of the repeats. I think there would be some interesting ways you could use something like this. If the you had it setup so when the treadle went toe down the repeats would go full speed while as the treadle sweeps the number of repeats could be set to either go up or down(switchable?)and have the level of the repeats got down or up(switchable?) Dunno if any of that is possible, seems like it would be. I find it strange that more delays don't at least have expression control over some of the parameters.

I also wish pedals to had expression pedal options with ability to control multiple parameters at once.

I use one of these Invalid Link Removed on the feedback knob of my delay. It doesn't give you rapid musical control like an expression pedal but it does allow me to change parameters without taking my hand off the bass and bending over.

The Battering Ram is not in series. It's parallel meaning both the OD and fuzz sides get the clean input signal, do their thing and then get mixed together.
I've actually just released Battering Ram V2.0 with a new Split switch. Now you have a choice of parallel or separate meaning that with the Split switch on you get fuzz only when you hit the Fuzz stomp switch (instead of Overdrive + Fuzz). Overdrive only is on when you switch the pedal on with the Overdrive stomp switch.
Still no series processing, I don't think it'd sound good.

i wish there was an expression pedal that had the added functionality of ibanez weeping demon-

AUTO SW. mode: The effect will automatically turn on when you depress the wah pedal slightly. When you return the pedal or take your foot off of it, the effect will turn off after a slight delay. A spring will return the pedal when you take your foot off of it.

the springs allow for quicker sweeps


Also i wish the LS2 could toggle between 2 modes via a fs5u pedal
