Pedals you regret ditching

Moog Taurus II. $20 to a pawn shop. I remember several sound men being happy when I didn't walk in with them after that six months on the road. I really wish that were an isolated incident from my poverty stricken early band days on the road. And, yeah, I know you didn't mean that kind of pedals.

Oh yeah, I regret selling my Boomstick Bottom Feeder.
So I tracked down the guy I sold it to and he was gracious enough to sell it back to me at the same price.
I still have it, and my lady won't let me sell it again.
I should listen to her more often. ;)

I miss the digitech ex7. Sold it because it wasn't very usable in the music i was playing and i had issues turning it on an off. I really do miss the space station sounds though. Pretty cool sound for noodling between songs. Hoping to pick one up used cheap. Ill likely just leave the ex7 on and kick it on and off with my boss line selector though. The wah style on and off wasn't my thing.

In the late 90s I had a Lovetone Meatball and a couple original Way Huge pedals. Not only were they awesome, but if I'd kept them I'd be able to fund other bass shenanigans much more easily today =0)

Not pedals per se, but rack gear with dedicated floorboard controllers that I used on my live rig:

- Digitech 2120 Artist
- Oberheim Echoplex Digital Pro w/ the Loop III firmware

What was I thinking?!?! Especially miss the Oberheim.

Oh, yeah, I also sold off an original Musitronics Mu-tron III back in 1977. Ugh.

Well...different levels of regret but the ones that stand out:

Boss BF-2 - greatest 80's postpunk/goth chorus with the res and manual knobs at zero. Had an MIT with the white/grey knobs that was amazing. I actuallt have an MIJ black knob now but there's something not quite right with it...

Boss VB-2 - believe it or not I've had two of the at different times. Had to sell the first to pay for double bass repair and sold the second one to a friend going on tour who broke his old one. Nice profit on them though. Now i have the Strymon OLA which sounds very close. But still...

Actually, I've had quite a few older Boss pedals I wouldn't mind having around; PH-1r, HM-2, EH-2, CE-2, CE-1, DD-3 (MIJ)...

The big one though:

Retrospec Squeeze Box tube compressor - just...don't ask. :(

I'm with you there. In fact I could say I regret selling everything on this board:
