Ok, here is my first attempt. I still haven't wired everything together as I'm trying out different configurations.

Did you have to mod the board to fit that t-rex underneath?

Yes I did mod (read cut up) the board per Bart (on The Gear Page). That was a lot of work too. And I added the booster feet to raise it up a bit. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I REALLY wanted the Fuel Tank jr. on there.

Bart was a excellent resource. The one thing that he did was shorten the FT jr. AC cord and made it an EIC connector. I haven't been able to bring myself to cut the cable. It kinda sux that T-Rex didn't originally make that an EIC connection rather than a hardwire connection.

Here is a photo of the bottom of the mini after I finished the cutting.

Luv the board and the mod!! ;)

I think it may be a very tight fit once you couple and power the pedals. The space between the pedals looks pretty small. IME you need at least an inch between each pedal. Try staggering the pedals up then down. That may help with the clearances.

Start with the pedals down on the right so people can gaze in wonderment at your niffty mod job!!

Bottom Feeder after Supercollider is indeed a great combo that I use myself - but try putting the OC-2 inbetween them... then you get a clean octave after the fuzz, and I've found the Supercollider to be much quieter in terms of background noise when connected directly to passive pickups without a buffer in the way.

I'm considering swapping my PT Jr for a Mini with someone I know... just need to make soe measurements first to make sure I can get away with one!

That's a great suggestion on running the OC2 after the supercollider. I recall noticing that the oc2 behaved much better when I ran it after my flying tomato.

I run the compressor after the ehx bms since that thing can get out of hand when the filter gets going. It's mainly there to protect my speakers.:)

They're your essentials? Would love to hear clips of whatever the hell it is you're playing!

I (try to) play metal.
Rotary speaker simulation is my alternative for chorus. I happen to not like chorus on bass.

Volume is for violin-like swells. (Inspired because Cliff Burton often did it.)

Delay, short digital delay with no feedback. For mellower passages. I found it more useful than reverb.

So I use it subtle. :)

I also am building a board full of boutique pedals: tremelo, analog delay, fuzz, synth-like octaver, synthesizer.
But I don't know if I'll get much use of that in a band situation.

So I want a small board, ease of use with the band, with my definition of essentials. :D

So anyone? Volume pedal on a PT mini?

You can always turn those bad boys sideways when you start to run out of room too!
indeed that's what I've done.

Here was my first version from April:

Two things became apparent quickly. Firstly, the FT Jr couldn't supply enough juice to run all the pedals on here. Secondly, I missed my flanger :)

So, here's latest version:

I was surprised the regular Fuel Tank fitted in there just fine, pleasant surprise :)
