LuvMusic, who builds the mini loop switch that you have first on your pt mini? I have a Barge vb-jr. that is nice and small but yours is even smaller.

I a/b'd the Swollen Pickle and the Supercollider in GC one day. It was fairly quiet (no metalheads shredding away).
The Supercollider was quite a bit more focused and less hairy gain-wise than the SP, and I really liked the depth control. The SP sounded alright, and I'm sure if I didnt have a Supercollider I wouldve liked it more. But the Supercollider wins for me.

thanks for the infos man.

i will be posting my revised PT Mini soon. just waiting for some pedals to come in.

Made by Loop-Master and for your viewing pleasure, here is the link:

http://www.loop-master.com/

All pedals are built when ordered, so, you may be waiting a little while for your pedal. The one I purchased was "custom" wired. I asked the the input/output jacks be placed on the right side of the box and the send/return jacks be placed on the left side of the box. This placement makes setting up very easy.

Thank you for the info and the link. I've actually been to that site several times in the past. There sure are a lot of offerings and it can get a bit confusing.

Is this the particular switcher you have?

Did they charge extra for the jack mod?

added are Groove Regulator, Bass Octave Deluxe and Carbon Copy. re-wired and replaced George L to Lava Solderless Cables.

my Pitchblack Tuner has no place in the board now, i'm using a small tuner instead. my X2 wireless goes on top of the board when its needed.

Man that looks sweet! what are you using for power?

just a bit of changes. i re-wired the board again, took out the Supercollider from the loop of Groove Regulator. i liked the sound i get from the looped one, but i can't use my SC anymore aside from that sound. so i decided to un-loop so i won't miss my SC anymore.:) the difference is not that much though, still sounded awesome. but for now i'm favoring the GR combined with the BOD for some disco and r n b things we do.

i also put the the SC higher than the BB and the BOD higher than the BB as well, for few nights whenever i stomp on my BB i always accidentally stomp on the BOD as well! man it was loud! :D

so here it is before:

Thanks to the guys in this thread for turning me onto the mini...I downsized from a larger, heavier, Pedal Pad board. I like the old one, as it has more room for my vintage Mutron-III, vintage/large Systech Phase Shifter, and a Loopmaster looper, but hey, it's big and heavy!

This one is powered by a Godlyke supply. Half the cables are George Ls...one of these days I'll replace the Monsters with more Georges...

So this Mini works nicely for the stuff I use the most. Of course, I had to buy a Nano Small Stone to keep a phase shifter on the board! Darn, I *had* to buy another pedal...:crying:

Not the best pic from my cell phone, but you'll get the idea.

nothing new here. just swapped out the SC with the X2 Wireless Receiver. i seldom use my SC and my dirt section is pretty much covered by the BB. so i decided to keep it for now and put my X2 since i use it more than the SC.

here it is:

My mini is getting a shake up. Traded, sold and bought a few pedals, but haven't settled on an order and waiting to set everything just yet.

Right now its looking like this:

Korg Pitchblack -> EBS Octabass -> MXR El Grande Fuzz -> EBS BassIQ -> EBS Unichorus -> EBS Multicomp

Didn't figure to end up with all the EBS pedals, but the used prices were right. Digging the tones right now.

Wanted to ask you guys, does the lineup seem about right or would you try something totally different? I've tried a couple different ways. But that's where I'm leaning.

Posted a pic earlier with different setup, so I'll post a new pic when its sorted out. Power is a One Spot.

just a small update.

i'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to try out the Octavius Squeezer courtesy of a very kind fellow TB'er named Lindsay. he lives in Laos and i'm in Bangkok. he took all the troubles of sending the pedal to me and let me try it for few weeks. so i removed the X2 wireless and the Carbon Copy just for the meantime while i have the OS. or maybe while i'm waiting for my own OS!!!:D

i read some threads about the OS. some good and bad comments. but in fairness, i think its an awesome pedal. great fuzz and lots crazy synth sounds. and the filter is awesome too! i have to sit down with this beast to get use to it. i think i will get one! IMO its worth the money you will pay for this. but i still rely on my Groove Regulator for my Filter needs and my MXR BOD for the Octave jobs.

Oh-oh! where did the clock go?:D and the SC is strangely missing.

the clock is hiding behind the BB.:D see it?

the SC has been resting a lot lately. right now the OS is doing most of the Fuzz, Synth and Filter jobs for me. its a great pedal IMHO. i'm gonna get me one very soon! the Carbon Copy is coming back and the BOD is the octave pedal that can never be replaced for me.

i was messing around a lot lately with the OS. trying to familiarize myself with the user interface. i'm not the tweak kind of guy, what i do is get a good preset as my base and do a bit of tweaking to my likings. and turns out that the Filter section of OS is awesome! so i swapped back the Carbon Copy and my X2, removed the Groove Regulator for the meantime. let's see how it goes!:hyper:

Okay here is mine, gotta little room left and will probably add an MXR Bass Octave pedal in that open space when I have the money.

I play mostly blues and blues rock/classic rock so mostly just going more for effects to make the tone more full I guess. I the phase is for those times I do Cream covers and go for a '70s psychedelic thing :)

Here's mine. Output goes to a volume pedal.

Upcoming mods are:

Tuner going off board and being replaced by a Boss OC-2
Analogman bi-comp going to a bigger board, replaced by a modded Boss CS-2
Moving the VT-bass after the FX-25
Adding a fuzz somewhere to the front end
