ITs not going to be he prettiest thing in the world, being all used from TB and my first pedalboard, but Im excited. Im working my butt off to buy a pedal each weekend!

Hah nothing wrong with used stuff, as long as they sound good and work well, who cares! I'm excited for you too! Post when you've got it. The mini will serve you well! The Qtron is fun!

Im very excited. Im negotiating a deal with the owner of an OC-2 that is brand new, no scratches, still has the box/papers.

Now all I need is the BBM, and the PT Mini. The Q should be here tomorrow, and Im ordering the OC-2 today, if allowed.

If anyone has a Big Bass Muff, PM me! As said in my sig, WANTED! :D

what do you all think? do you think i have space to squeeze in a Trex fuel Tank jr in there? :)

Don't know. However, somewhere in this forum there is a link to a PedalTrain Mini thread in the GearPage where people have modded their mini's to place a power supply underneath the board.

Here is the link showing Mini"s that have been modded for a power supply'

The process basically involved cutting a couple of supports underneath and replacing the feet on the Mini to give it a little more clearance. Looks very "doable" if you have the tools and skill.

Another option for 18v power is a step-up converter made by Godlyke called the Power Pump. It's an adapter tip that has an upcoverter on it. I've read posts of people using it successfully with Godlyke and OneSpot power supplies.

Just updated my Mini. Gone are a Nano Small Stone and a PL.....off-boarded.

Added a Zvex Mastotron and Catalinbread Valcoder.

Here is a new pic!

hmmm....

I don't want to get a DC Brick because personally I feel it's an overpriced piece of daisy chain wire in a box, and it's much more expensive than a Fuel Tank Jr in my country.

The Godlyke Power Pump seems to be out of stock from all the online retailers that I have searched so far.

Looks like the Fuel Tank Jr is probably a better choice, but I'm worried baout it sticking out too much, and also one question... that black power cable coming out of it.... can it rotate so I can turn it to a nice angle if I can fit it into the mini's faceplace and the first tier?

The AC power cable is fixed to the box? It isn't removeable?

Right is't fixed and un-removable. It would nave been nice if it was so you could adjust it. I just sold mine, not because of that but because i needed a special connector to my compressor and the Voodoo Labs had it. The VooDoo Labs does have a separate power cord that is removable and it comes out straight from the back so it's a little easier to manage but it is a little bit larger in size but it has more connectors.

Have you thought about putting the zvex pedal the other way round? If it works you'd be able to fit another mxr sized pedal on there

I played around with mounting the Zvex vertically as I was switching out the pedals on my board and I couldn't quite get enough room for another pedal. Maybe with a different patch cable solution.

However, I have another Catalinbread pedal (an Ottava Magus octave ring multiplier) that would fit perfectly in that spot. I would probably move the Zvex to the top row (so I don't smash the knobs) and place Catlinbread pedal on the bottom.

Or, maybe try to pickup a Catalinbread Hyperpak to add a little dirt.

Thanks for the suggestion!
